Eriko, a Half-Vampire and Half-Fox Yokai, is in a life-or-death situation when she finds out she only has 2 more years to live because her mixed blood are clashing together. Inspite of this, Eriko acts as if nothing is wrong in daylight and keeps her condition a secret.Either way, Chigusa and Naomi find out and decide to try and find a way to save her from the shadows. They soon meet Ryouichi (Ryou) and find out he is an angel and knows a way to help Eriko. When Eriko figures out what her friends have been doing she runs away and leaves a note saying that she wishes not to be found and that she wants to die alone. Shocked Chisuga and Naomi run to Ryou and the three look for Eriko.
